In our latest blog, we chat with our Director of Dealer Success Services, Colleen Good.

Hi, Colleen. Can you tell us about your role at One Nexus?
As Director of Dealer Success Services at One Nexus, my mission is to help commercial dealerships unlock the full potential of their Fleet & Commercial Divisions. I lead a talented team of subject matter experts specializing in fleet management, sales fundamentals, business development centre (BDC) support, and commercial team recruiting. We stay closely aligned with industry trends and deliver cutting-edge training bootcamps, strategic mentorship, and innovative tools to help dealerships thrive. Our ultimate goal is to empower Commercial Account Managers to stay competitive — not just with other dealerships, but with fleet management companies that target the same customers. Every day, we work to ensure our partners are positioned for long-term success.

What is your experience in the automotive industry so far?
Over the past 30 years, I’ve built a diverse and rewarding career in the automotive industry. After earning my degree in Speech Communications and Business, I began at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where I held a variety of roles which sharpened my skills in leading sales teams, managing P&L, delivering exceptional customer service, and coaching consultants to peak performance. I then served as Market Leader for Pro Drivers, a premier CDL staffing firm, where I negotiated contracts to fill critical driving positions across local and regional markets. As an Area Sales Manager, I led teams tasked with securing business from competitors on behalf of a major OEM. These experiences gave me a strong foundation in dealership operations, business development, and fleet solutions — including cash flow analysis, telematics integration, and comprehensive fleet management services — all of which fuel my passion for helping commercial dealerships grow.

How has your journey with One Nexus been so far?
My career with One Nexus has been deeply rewarding. Over the past 11 years, I’ve had the opportunity to lead business development teams, train dealership personnel nationwide, and contribute to the evolution of our Dealer Success Services division. What sets One Nexus apart is its entrepreneurial, collaborative environment. Innovation is encouraged. Mentorship is embedded in our culture. And every team member is empowered to make a meaningful impact. Being part of a company that values forward-thinking ideas while fostering strong personal and professional development has been an incredible experience.

What would you say you enjoy most about your job?
What I enjoy most about my role is the freedom to think strategically and design custom business plans that deliver tangible results for our dealer partners. Every dealership has unique challenges and opportunities, and I love helping them tap into new strategies, resources, and technologies to drive growth. I’m also inspired daily by the amazing team I work alongside. Our diverse backgrounds and experiences bring fresh perspectives that strengthen our approach to training, customer support, and dealership development. The dynamic nature of the commercial automotive space ensures there’s always more to learn — and I thrive in that kind of ever-evolving environment.

What was it about One Nexus that made you want to get involved?
I was drawn to One Nexus because of its bold vision for the future of dealership sales and customer engagement. When I joined, the company was building a Business Development Division focused on partnering with an OEM and its dealerships to educate customers on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) — a consultative approach that goes beyond selling vehicles to delivering real, measurable value. It was the perfect opportunity to apply my skills in business development, sales management, and customer education to help dealerships not only compete but lead in their markets.

Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing?
Family is a huge part of my life. I’m married and proud to be a mom to my son Michael (21) and stepmom to Abbie (22) and Bella (24). We enjoy spending time together celebrating holidays, cheering at sporting events, relaxing at the beach, and traveling back to New York to visit family. I’m also a licensed Zumba instructor and love staying active through high-energy dance styles like salsa, reggaeton, merengue, and cumbia. Whenever possible, I indulge my passion for live theatre — fitting in as many Broadway plays as I can with my extended family!

Finally, what is one thing you would like readers to know about yourself or One Nexus that they might not know already?
