Hi, Charlotte. Can you tell us about your role at One Nexus?

My role is the Senior Finance and Compliance Assistant for Renault, Kia Mobility Solutions and Nexus Mobility Solutions. My main task is the sales billing to Renault and Kia, actioning the payments and supporting the rest of the finance team in their roles too.

What is your experience in the automotive industry so far?
My only experience in the automotive industry is everything I have learnt in One Nexus. I had only worked in retail previously, so this was a great change!

How has your journey with One Nexus been so far?
I started working for One Nexus in November 2022 in the reservation department for Ford Rental. Within a year of working here I moved into the Ford finance department into the role of Financial support which I did until August 2025. This is when I started working in the NMS finance department and in April 2026 I moved into the Senior role. I think I had a really great journey to get to where I am as each role has helped me in the one I have now and made me confident in what I do.

What would you say you enjoy most about your job?
I enjoy that each day is different. The job is always changing and so there is always something new to learn which keeps it interesting.

What was it about One Nexus that made you want to get involved?
I didn’t know much about the business before I applied, but my sister Kira started working here and said that she thought I would be good at it. At the time I was working in retail, but I wanted to do something different and find a job I really enjoyed. The company had a lot of different departments and offered opportunities, so I was keen to apply and get involved.

Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing?
I enjoy spending time with my partner and family, walking my German Shepherd, Riker and cuddling my two cats, Ahsoka and Kylo. I also like to go to the gym a few times week and I occasionally read. I also sometimes have a random hobby, which at the moment is making magnets with polymer clay.

Finally, what is one thing you would like readers to know about yourself or One Nexus that they might not know already?
One Nexus is constantly growing and it’s an exciting time to be a part of it as there’s always new opportunities for people to progress and learn something new.
